There’s power in women coming together.
What are Lean In Circles?
Leaning in is not a solo sport. In a world where women still face bias and other barriers at work, Lean In Circles are a safe space to share your struggles, give and get advice, and celebrate each other’s wins. Whether you need help navigating your new normal at work or are looking for support from women who understand what you’re going through, your Lean In Circle will give you the boost we all need.
Central Exchange is committed to offering women the ongoing inspiration and support to help them achieve their goals, and we are very excited to partner with the Lean In Network | Kansas City to offer Lean In Circles to our members and non-members throughout the KC metropolitan area.
Based on Sheryl Sandberg’s book, Lean In, these small cohorts focus on encouraging women to pursue their ambitions and change the conversation from
what we can’t do to what we can do.
Each Lean In Circle provides you an opportunity to connect with other women and share experiences that allow you to know each other by tapping into one another ideas and giving support. The group dynamics will grow and change throughout each session based on the participation of the cohort’s attendees.
Interested in joining a circle?
Registration for the next cadence of Lean In Circles is now open! Sessions run for 6 months starting in February or March. Select your day of the week to register for your desired cohort.
Please note that due to the personal and confidential nature of these conversations, each Lean In cohort is limited to 11 women plus the circle leader, and we will not be recording the sessions. If you think you will not be able to make at least 4 of the 6 sessions, we ask that you do not register today so another woman can join.
